What is better on a cold winder morning than a bowl of oatmeal? I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast since childhood when my dad would always make us Quaker maple brown sugar instant oatmeal. Oatmeal is filling and nice to your waist line.
This is a quick and easy recipe for every day or a lazy Sunday morning. Here is what you need.

  • 1/3 cup chopped banana
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chunky peanut butter
Directions:
  1. Mix oatmeal and next 5 ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Cook for 2- 3 minutes until soft.
  2. Stir in brown sugar and peanut butter. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Add sliced bananas on top if desired.
