Fresh Garlic Green Beans

This is a great side dish that even the pickiest of vegetable eaters will enjoy. It is quick, simple, and a no brainer.

  • 1-2 lbs fresh green beans
  • 4 fresh garlic cloves minced 
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter

  1. Snap the ends from the green beans. 
  2. Bring 6 qts. of water to boil. 
  3. Add green beans and reduce heat to medium. 
  4. Boil 7 minutes.
  5. Drain and set aside.
  6. Saute garlic, butter, salt and pepper. 
  7. Add green beans and stir till heated through. Serve immediately.
